Senior Azure Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Developer for fully remote work who will be a cloud solutions architect and mentor for the team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing applications on the Azure platform, working asynchronously in a distributed team.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable solutions on Azure, working with services such as App Service, Azure SQL, Functions and Service Bus

• Conduct code reviews, share knowledge and support sound technical growth of the development team

• Optimize performance, security and cloud infrastructure costs through continuous monitoring and improvement

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployment automation and infrastructure as code (IaC)

• Document architecture and solutions at an asynchronous pace, enabling the team to work with flexible hours

• Solve complex technical problems and propose innovative approaches to production challenges

Required skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud application development, including at least 3 years working with Microsoft Azure platform

• Proficient knowledge of Azure services: App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps

• Solid knowledge of C# and .NET Framework or .NET Core

• Experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures and CI/CD practices

• Ability to work in an asynchronous environment and distributed team

• Fluent English for professional communication

Nice to have skills

• Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect certification

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB and Azure data services

• Practice in Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Experience mentoring junior team members
